Aura bulk fill
Fill, pack and go.
One Shade. One Fill.
Speedy and simple posterior composite restorations.
Natural-looking finish with just one universal shade
High depth of cure without the need for a capping layer
Easy placement in a matter of seconds
The waxy consistency is packable and non-sticky to optimize handling
Depth of Cure
The opacity of aura bulk fill is a function of the difference in the refractive index of its two components, the filler and the resin.
The curing process alters the refractive index of the resin marginally, to match the refractive index of the filler.
This lowers the opacity temporarily, allowing deeper light penetration for a high depth of cure.
Upon curing, the indices move apart again to arrive at the ideal opacity for aura bulk fill’s brilliant chameleon-like finish.
INTRODUCTION
aura bulk fill is a light cured, radiopaque, high strength, composite
designed to eliminate time consuming layering for posterior restoration. The
aura bulk fill has a 5mm depth of cure allowing fast and easy placement
when restoring deep cavities.
INDICATIONS
• Posterior restorations • Core buildup • Splinting • Sandwich technique with glass-ionomer
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
• Pulp capping.
• Do not use in conjunction with any eugenol containing materials.
• Anyone with allergy to acrylics
PLACEMENT PROCEDURE:
1. Isolate tooth.
2. Prepare cavity using standard technique for composite resin
restorations.
Note: In cases where pulp protection is necessary, use a calcium
hydroxide liner.
3. Apply a dentin/enamel bonding agent such as SDI Go! as per
manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Place aura bulk fill no more than 5mm thick.
5. Light cure for 20 seconds using a high powered LED curing light
(460 - 480nm wavelength).
6. Finish restoration using standard technique.
